Book Review: Eeny Meeny by M.J Arlidge…

The girl emerged from the woods, barely alive. Her story was beyond belief. But it was true. Every dreadful word of it.Days later, another desperate escapee is found – and a pattern is emerging. Pairs of victims are being abducted, imprisoned then faced with a terrible choice: kill or be killed.
Would you rather lose your life or lose your mind?
Detective Inspector Helen Grace has faced down her own demons on her rise to the top. As she leads the investigation to hunt down this unseen monster, she learns that it may be the survivors – living calling cards – who hold the key to the case.
And unless she succeeds, more innocents will die . . .
This absolutely stupendous thriller introduces the reader to DI Helen Grace. Her character is deeply personally flawed but professionally she is a trailblazer. The youngest ever DI at her police station.
The story picks you up and literally tears through your brain like a comet. You literally feel as if you have been picked up by a tornado, whirled around and dropped down in a completely different location.
The story is fast paced and takes you on a suspense filled journey that leaves your heart pounding, breathless and eager to turn the next page and devour the next aspect of this utterly thrilling story.
The twists and turns of this story keep you guessing right until the very end. An absolutely brilliant book that I finished in just over 24 hours. A definite 5 star read!
